Fae Wild - OOC Community

So, after what has been going on with the last few events, the game has certainly crawled to a stop. This summer has been a nightmare for all of us and with the size of the game as it is, we need all of the players active as we can get.

As a result, I, Head Mod Gigi, am considering closing the game. I know this is not what anyone wants, but I would need much more help to really get this game running the way it needs.

I would be more than happy if someone (or a few someones) would like to join me in plotting and writing up events, as that is what has burned me out after February.

 Hi, everyone! Gigi-Mod here! I just want to apologize for the lack of communication lately from me and the rest of the team. This is a small game and with us not talking to you, I can understand that it can sap motivation. So this is my deepest apology for disappearing.

I will be honest and say that I've been suffering from really, really bad burnout. I stretched myself with too many obligations and that led to me having a bit of a step back from the internet. I should have been more honest with you all and if that makes you not trust me, I understand and wouldn't blame you if you wanted to leave the game. The other mods, the wonderful Manda and the darling Daisy, have been having some health issues and it just all seemed to happen at once.

I do plan on continuing the game and getting my ass in gear. If there's anything that you'd like to see in the game, please make sure to head over to our Player Suggestion Page. We do look there and check the emails often! 

Other than that, I want to add that we're working on the next event post to wrap up the Heroes and Villains event of May and get some fun summer-themed things for you. And we're getting a TDM together as well. 

That brings us to what I wanted to talk to you all about. How does everyone feel about maybe moving events to every other month or once every three months (like the TDM)? The game is still small enough that I think events every month just wasn't sustainable until we get more people.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE HAVE EVENTS?

1) Every month - I enjoy the strange monthly things you guys come up with.

2) Every other month - Every month is too much, but I like having things to do with downtime

3) Every three months - This will give us a break and the ability to do things in between that aren't all chaos.
